He allowed me to be sick so I would know what it feels like to be healed. He allowed me to be alone to cherish what it means to be together. He allowed me to experience poverty so that I would understand what it means to be rich. He allowed me to be broken so I would be equipped with the proper heart required. He allowed me to serve to give me an opportunity to participate in his glory. He allowed for me to be in darkness so others could see my light. He allowed me to be incomplete so that in “His,” work I may be made whole. He allowed me to be imperfect so that “He,” may make me perfect in his will.
He allowed me to have deep conviction so that I might examine myself. He allowed me to be despised so that might not be so judgmental. He allowed me to know humility so that I would learn & to be humbled. He allowed me to know shame so that I would know virtue. He allowed me to have anxieties so that I might be patient. He allowed my next breath so that I might understand that I’m blessed. He allowed me another day so that I might remember that it is hope. He allowed my struggle so that I might persevere. He allowed me weakness so that I might know grace. He allowed me to be simple so that I could be made wise. He allowed me to bear witness so that I might know his sons sacrifice. He allowed me to be saved so that “His,” name might be praised.
